Isaac sat down and began to arrange the items on the blanket: several tupperware containers, two plates, silverware, napkins, two glasses and a large bottle. Terry knelt down beside him and picked up the bottle.
" Apple cider?"
Isaac grinned. " Yeah, I thought it would make a nice substitute for champaign." He pulled the lids from the containers, revealing its contents of hot spaghetti, fresh garden salad, and slices of warm garlic bread.
" Isaac, this looks wonderful," Terry said. " Did you make it yourself?"
He began to portion out the food onto plates. " Yeah. I hope you like it. I know it's not much, but I'm not much of a cook."
" No, this looks really good. Thanks," she said, accepting the plate. They sat in companionable silence as they ate. Isaac popped the top off the bottle and poured the cider into a glass.
" Champaign?" he joked, offering the glass. Terry laughed at the joke as she accepted the glass and took a sip of the tangy liquid, set down her plate and glanced up at the sky.
" Wow, the stars look so pretty," she said, carefully setting down the glass and rubbing the chill from her arms.
Isaac put his food down, scooted up next to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, gratified when she relaxed and leaned into him. " Not nearly as pretty as you," he whispered, lightly kissing her cheek. She closed her eyes as she rested her head on his shoulder, then opened them again as she stared into his eyes and gently ran her fingers along his cheek.
" This place is so romantic," she whispered, " like we're in our own private world."
Isaac gently caught and held her hand in his, entwining his fingers with hers. " I know, it does," he agreed, " Our own special world." He lay his hand on her cheek and kissed her on the mouth, lightly at first, then more passionately as her soft lips melted into his. His arms went around her waist and hers around his neck as they kissed. They simultaneously stretched out on the blanket, Isaac maneuvering himself so he sprawled out on Terry, careful to support his weight. Terry ran her hands along Isaac's back and along his neck as she looked up at him with love and trust.
Isaac bent his head and kissed her again, then along her cheek and jawline. She tilted her head back as his kisses moved to her throat and collarbone, tracing his fingers where his kisses had been. His hands moved along her arms and shoulders, hesitating above her chest. His heart pounded with nervousness and excitement from the newness of it all, but he didn't want to over-step his bounds.
" Are you nervous?" he whispered.
" Not really," Terry replied, hesitated, then laughed softly. " Well, maybe a little."
" Are you okay with this? I mean, can I…"
"… Go ahead."
Isaac's hand lightly grazed her breast, gently, then more boldly. Terry closed her eyes at his touch as he continued to touch her, feeling as though her body were on fire, a sweet fire, as her breathing quickened. Isaac's hands moved down and, his hands slightly shaking, gently tugged on the bottom of her shirt. Terry sat up and pulled her shirt up and over her head, then reached behind her and unhooked her bra, revealing her chest to Isaac's full view. He stared at her with love and longing and quickly pulled off his own shirt. He leaned over and kissed her hard on the mouth as they lay down again, Isaac's legs entangled with hers, enjoying the feel of her warm skin against his. His lay his head down on her chest as she held him tight, feeling her caress his back and shoulders. His eye went to her breast as he lifted his head and hesitantly, dared to kiss the nipple and gently took it into his mouth. She gasped at the sudden heat that spread to her loins, burning with a demanding need as he gently sucked at the nipple again. He held her close as his kisses traveled from her breasts to her stomach. He moved to kiss her neck and sucked at the tender skin as he moved his body against hers in a pleasurable rhythm.
Terry gave herself up to him and the moment completely as the yearning in her loins intensified. He lifted his head and kissed her on the lips again, slowly this time, letting his tongue mingle with hers.
" I love you so much," he whispered.
" I love you, too. The thought of losing you just drives me crazy," Terry whispered back, clutching him as he lay his head on her collarbone in contentment.
" You're never going to lose me, as long as you want me, anyway."
" I'm in no hurry to get rid of you," she laughed. " You're the best thing that's happened to me in a long time."
" You're the best thing that's happened to me ever," he smiled, then yawned. " I could just go to sleep here."
Terry relaxed completely in the fold of his arms as she kissed his forehead and continued to stroke his face. " Me too. It's a little cold, though."
Isaac sat up and, still straddling Terry's waist, reached over and grabbed up a blanket that was folded nearby. He quickly shook it out and pulled it over them both. Warm and happy in each other's arms, they closed their eyes
