My Testimony
I went to the Salvation Army Church in Bangor, when I was very young. It was a" Sunday Thing" and I new not Jesus but learn a lot. Then at the age of 10 my life changed forever.
The State took my brother and I and put us in foster homes. I was moved three times before I had a stable "home". I was 11 at this time and in the fourth grade. My foster family went to church and I went with them. About two weeks went by, they got a new pastor his name was Richard Bach. After he taught us he prayed and he asks, "if anyone in the church would die today would heaven be your home". I didn't know, I thought the good would way out the bad and I went to church all my life and God would late me into heaven. I just didn't know. I put up my hand and ask Jesus into my heart. I went to church because I wanted to learn more about God, and my foster parents never made me to go to church. Then at the age 19 1/2 my life changed again for the bad or good.
I got a part time job at Bangor True Value. On my brakes I would go downtown talk to the street kids about Jesus. But how I did this was a very bad idea but I did now that at the time. What I did was I got into their groups and told them. It went good for a week or two then they got me to do thing I told my self I would never do in my life. Then I moved to Bangor with very bad roommates. Then one day Ken Graves came into my store and I help him with the thing he needed and seeing him got to me because I used to watch him on t.v. and I used to enjoy his teaching on t.v. A couple of days later some new kid went downtown and had a bible study and then ever Friday night. Then one night God converted me very, very badly and what He did I will tell one person my future wife and know one else. The next day I gave my life back to Christ. Then my life changed again.
God took all the bad thing I did away at one time I couldn't believe that but He did. Then the some of the kid at the bible study let me move to their apartment. I found out they when to Calvary Chapel with Ken Graves. I got into fellowship and other bible study and got baptized in the Holy Spirit. Then I lost my job because they didn't need me anymore. And I found it was a good thing. I found my self in love with Word and leaning things about God. About three mouths God gave me a job.
Yes I am a backslider or not. Ken talk about three types of people, they who not saved, they how are saved, and they how think there saved but not and he also talk about the sheep that falls into the mud and need the shepherd to get him out. But I don't care watch one I was, I know now, I am saved. I believe that God late me do that because He has a plan for me and its not done yet.
