Ever wonder how 3 young boys growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma came to be "America's Heartthrobs?" Well read on to find out how two Highschool Sweethearts, ended up bringing new meaning to the word "music."

Back in the late 1960's in Tulsa, Oklahoma, two young Nathan Hale High School students met and fell in love. Those two young lovers were, Diana Lawyer and Walker Hanson. They two spent their high school years participating in extracurricular activities. Their favorite, the drama club. They co-starred in many of their schools musical productions.

When graduation came around, the two packed up and went off the the University of Oklahoma together.

In 1973, it was their freshman year, they were only 19 years old, but that didn't stop the two from being married. Walker decided he wanted to work in the oil field and went on to earn a degree. Soon after graduation he joined Helmerich & Payne, Inc., which was a Tulsa-based international oil drilling company. He did so well, that he was eventually named the Manager of International Administration.

Soon after, they decided to start a family of their own. In 1980 their first was born. Clarke Isaac Hanson. He was soon followed by Jordan Taylor Hanson in 1983 and Zachary Walker Hanson in 1985. The three were followed by little sisters Jessica, Avery and little bro Mackenzie. Later, little sister, and youngest of the Hanson clan, Zoe Genevieve Hanson would be born.

Diana immediatly decided that she would stay home to home-school their children. " we just felt it was better for the kids." says Walker Hanson.

With Walkers job, the family was forced to move to places like Venezuela, Ecuador, and Trinidad-Tobago. During that year of constant moving around, the children had to provide their own entertainment. That was how the story began.
Thanks to Totally Taylor! for all the above infomation.
