Critters3 - Leonardo was in this film in 1991. The Director is Kristine Peterson. The movie's about this guy Josh(Leo) who lives in this apartment along with five outer space critters! (I heard it was a bad movie and that leo doesn't like to talk about it that much!)
Poison Ivy - A 1992 movie directed by Shea Ruben. It also stars Drew Barrymore and Sara Gilbert. But Leo's part in it is very small. His character doesn't even have a name. The movie's about Ivy(Drew Barryore) who lives with this rich foster family and she wants to make the family her own.
This Boy's Life - A 1993 movie directed by Micheal Caton which also stars Robert DiNero. The film is about Tobias Wolff(Leo) and him dealing with his abusive dad. *Robert DiNero picked Leo out hiself out of 400 other boys at the audition for the part of Tobias Wolff.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape - This is the 1994 film in which Leo played Arnie, a mentally retarded boy that was directed by Lasse Hallstorm. Leo got an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Although he didn't win he was very happy because he doesn't like making big speakes in front of large audiences and also he was happy that he didn't win because he didn't even prepair a speech. *Leo did such a good job on this movie that some people thought he was a real mentally challenged boy.
The Quick And The Dead - A 1995 movie in which Leo had a small part in was directed by Sam Raimi. Leo plays a boy who wanted the respect of his dad, but ends up getting killed by his father.Sharon Stone gave up part of her salary just so Leo could play the part of Kid.
The Basketball Diaries - Leo plays the part of Jim Carrol in this 1995 film. It was based on Jim Carrol's life. In it, Leo plays a New York City Catholic school boy who is a poet and loves Basketball, turns to a drugie with his buds, but then became clean in the end of the movie. It's directed by Scott Kalvert.
Total Eclipse - A 1995 film directed by Agnieszka Holland. It's about a young gay poet(leo) and his relationship with Paul Verlaine who dies at the age of 37. It is also the first movie where he shared a kiss with a guy!
William Shakespears's Romeo And Juliet - A 1996 movie directed by Baz Luhrmann. It also stars Clare Danes. The movie is an new version of the classic love story. The story is still the same, a heart-broken Romeo falls in love with Juliet, only their parents are arch enemys. I think that it was a very good movie. Leo played a good Romeo!
Marvin's Room - A 1996 movie directed by Jerry Zaks. It also stared Diane Keaton, Maryl Streep, and Robert DiNero. Leo plays a boy who's a little mentally unstable. Well anyway, his relationship with his mother is very bad and their Aunt is dying from cancer and need them to donate a bone marrow. Between, their discovering a bond that they have that could never be broken.
Titanic - A 1997 film directed by James Cameron. It also stars Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Gloria Stuart and Danny Nucci. The movie's about the love affair between Leo, a 3rd class passenger, and Kate, a 1st class passenger. It's a forbiddin love! And while their on the Titanic which all of us know that it is going to hit an iceburg and 1502 people die. Other than that it's a pretty good movie, and if you still haven't seen it, GO SEE IT NOW!
Man In The Iron Mask - A 1998 film directed by Randall Wallace. Also stars Phillip-John Malkovich, Gerard Depardieu, Jeremy Irons, and Gabriel Ryrne. The ovie's based on the classic novel The Man In The Iron Mask. It's about Louis the XVI and his twin brother philip who is locked away in the dungeon with an iron mask on for life! don't know yet exactly what it's about, but heard it was a very goo movie and that leo did an excellent performance.
