Once Upon A December: My "Anastasia" Page

I first heard the song "Once Upon a December" at my dance studio. It is a gorgeous song from the soundtrack "Anastasia." Here are the lyrics to the version performed so beautifully by Deana Carter, copyright 1997. This version is slightly different than the one played during the movie. The Movie

Based on the premise of the old tale that one daughter of the Russian Romanovs family survived, "Anastasia" places the viewer in the palace of the family at the cusp of the Russian Revolution. From that moment on, the movie is done as a fairy tale. I recently saw the film, and I must admit, it was wonderful. It did not come off as too cheesy or sentimental; it mixed humor and romance with suspense and drama. It was very good. I recommend it to anyone who would like to see a good film that will keep you occupied without boring you. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 11. UPDATE: I got "Anastasia" for my birthday!!!
