~*POEMS*~(mine and others):Welcome

Here is some poetry.. enjoy

Here is one of mine that shows two sides of myself..one side i am gonna push way far away..

Imagine this:

The perfect friend.

Always there for you.

A creative mind and a good problem solver.

A talented musician, as it is apparent.

A passionate lover, a person to hug.

A responsible thinker.

Image this:

A girl on the floor.

her knees in her face.

She is sobbing at the fact that she could have done better

She could have made everyone happier and she

let herself down.

She needs love, she needs a hug

A negative thinker.

The best friend resembles the girl.

How could it be that what everyone sees as perfect

is merely imperfect to her.

The love she has to give, is given freely

No one sees what she sees.....

This is a poem that someone else wrote under an Anonymous name, and anyone else that wants me to post theirs, just send them to me and i will type them on my poetry page(when i get it)

By Kaliserebia

You and me sound the best,

only when together.

I miss you more than anything,

Anything can be done for you,

just ask the question,

then consider it done.

You are the only person I think about.

The table with a dinner and two chairs would be great for me.

Hopeful for you too.

My love for you is unlimited.

Waiting for you to say yes,

my heart has one space with your name first on the waiting list.

I'm going to love you,

no matter how you feel about me.

This poem is one that is very true of our day. It describes our times exactly.

The Paradox of Our Age

We have taller buildings, but shorter tempers;

widerfreeways, but narrower viewpoints;

we spend more, but have less;

we buy more, but enjoy it less.

We have bigger house and smaller families;

more conveniences, but less time;

we have more degrees, but less sense;

more knowledge, but less judgement;

more experts, but more problems;

more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much,

smoke too much,

spend too recklessly,

laugh too little(mel put a smile on your face)

drive too fast,

get too angry too quickly,

stay up too late,

get up too tired,

read too seldom,

watch TV too much,

and pray too seldom.(in any way, shape or form, i know what you are all thinking)

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.

We talk too much, love too seldom, and lie too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life;

We've added years to life, not life to years.

We've been all the way to the moon and back,

but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.

We've conquered outer space, but not inner space;

We've done larger things, but not better things;

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul;

We've split the atom, but not our prejudice;

We write more, but learn less;

plan more, but accomplish less.

We've learned to rush, but not to wait;

we have higher incomes; but lower morals;

more food but less appeasement;

more acquaintances, but fewer friends;

more effor but less success.

We build more computers to hold more information,

to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication;

we've become long on quanity, but short on quality.

These are the times of fast food and slow digestion;

tall men, and short character;

steep profits, and shallow relationships.

These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare;

more leisure and less fun;

more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce;

of fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are the days of quick trips,

disposable diapers,

thrownaway morality,

one-night stands,

overweight bodies,

and pills that do everything from cheer,

to quiet,

to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom.

My Lyrics

This is a poem I like, its by My Beautiful Baby Doll

By KaliSerebia Moonair

Why must we pretend;

to care, to love, to hate;

to be ourselves?

Acting is for T.V.,

not our lives.

Why do we live in the fear to

Show our true feelings?

We should have our true colors

on the outside,

as well as the inside.

When you meet new people,

Do you wonder if that is really 'them'?

I do.

I have put on faces,

can't they?

Of course,

I can be happy, sad, confused...

the list goes on.

People like me better as the Actress

I have learned to become.

I have only showed one person

the real me.

She doesn't know the actress,

but thats the point.

To be totally opposite.
