Akerson

John Akerson b. Sept.9, 1809 in Sweden.
Moved to Krisdtianstads in 1824. Then Ransater farmland in 1851.

His son was:
John Akerson b. May 22, 1850 Linderod Parish, Krisdtianstads (now the county of Skane) Sweden. At the age of eleven he began working the masons trade at which he worked at for over twenty years.
He married: March 25, 1874
Olsen, Marie b: April 12, 1856 in Nordmark Varmland.
In 1888 he emigrated to this country arriving in Willmar MN on April 4, 1888.
A few month after arriving he purchased on credit the farm of John Osland in section 24, town of Mamre.
John Akerson then began farming. He became very successful at it and toward the end of his life had accumalated 180 acres free from incumbrance. The land was in section 23 and 24, town of Mamre and section 2 in the town of St. Johns.

His son was:
Berger Akerson Nov.12, 1883 in Sweden.
He emigrated in 1889 to Willmar Mn.
He married:
Hannah Winnifred Osland b. unknown

His daughter was:
Burnette Delores Akerson b. June 14, 1918. She married Oct.13,1939:
Elmo Norman Greenfield b. Sept. 13, 1913
