Books I Enjoy

"Good Omens" by Neill Gaiman & Terry Pratchett.
This book has it all famine, death, war, pollution? In this book the four horsemen (well three horsemen and a horsewoman) are losed apon the world and the apocolypse is starting...unless agents on both sides can stop it with the help of... the antichrist?

"The Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan.
The first book in the 'wheel of time' cycle I find it really intresting because of the strong pagan influence in the storys, mentenings of pagan holidays and the like.

"Small Gods" by Terry Pratchett.
One of my fave discworld novels (of corse there all worth reading) it introduces the grea t god Om (who due to lack of belief {not followers he has plenty of those} is traped in the body of a small tortise. I find deep meaning in the short story that starts the book.

"Rincewind the Wizzard" by Terry Pratchett.
A great place to start the Discworld reader, it comprises four discworld novels including the first two and one that was originaly only released in England. In this set we meet one of the Disc's greatest protagonists, Rincewind, a bumbling near do well with a positive gift for getting out of danger (though he'd rather have a gift for avoiding it altogether) and the Luggage... terror and death on hundreds of little feet.

"The Dragonriders of PERN" by Anne McCaffrey.
A wonderfull story that started an entire library of books, it stands well on it's own and as part of an evolving series... this was my favorite book for many years and I still enjoy it.
