For the past 9 years Jerry Seinfeld has brought one of the best tv shows ever. It's a shame that I was only 5 or 6 when Seinfeld first aired. I was to young to watch it and get it. I started watching in the 5th or 6th season. Thankfully for reruns, I have been able to watch almost every episode. I have had many memories of Seinfeld.
When I first hered about the last Seinfeld ever, there was about 9 episodes left. I was sad but it really didn't hit me. It wasn't until the second to last Seinfeld(The Pureto Rican Day Parade) That Seinfeld was never going to make a new episode. Still it took until the clip show were it really hit me. When they played "Time of Your Life", by Green Day. It was very said watching Jerry and the gang in those pictures and short clips. The song was a great chioce to play as well. Everytime I hear "Time of Your Life" I will always remember Seinfeld. May 14th 1998 will always be a sad day for me. It was the day Seinfeld was to be no more. A part of me actully died on that day. Sure, there will always be more shows and I will always watch them. But there will never be another Seinfeld. No characters will get to me like Kramer, Jerry, Elaine or George will. There wont be anyone who will be able to lie or cheat and make you laugh like George did. There will never be another wacky off the wall neighbor like Kramer. Another woman who acts the ways she does like Elaine. There will never be another person in general like Jerry.
I was at a site one day and I read something that said "Jerry: thanks for nothing" I at first I was a little pissed that this guy said that. then a couple of seconds later, it hit me. I realize what it meant and I that it was awesome. If you dont know what it means I dont think you are a real Seinfeld fan. Seinfeld is the show about nothing. and nothing would be the show so the guy was saying thanxs for the show.
Being only 14 right now kind of sucks. I was late on Seinfeld and I wont be able to see Jerry do stand-up, for a while that is. I hope that I get he chance to see Jerry do standup sometime.
