Project Concept: The project involved the Design, Implementation and Testing of a Full-Fledged Horizontal portal according to the User Specifications. Major Modules included Components like Content Management, Commerce Server, Personalization Server, Chat Server, Live News Feed, Mail Component, WAP-Enabling ,etc. Integration of all these components was a major task in hand.                                                    My Responsibilities :  

·          Was Part of the 4 member Team which was solely responsible for all Client Interaction at all stages of the project ranging from User Specification to the final Delivery.

·          Participated in analyzing the requirements and the overall scoping of the project.

·          Responsible for making the detailed design and Architecture of the  whole Site

·          Played a key Role in Interaction with 3^rd party vendors and Estimation , Feasibility and Final decision process regarding which tools to use.

·          Was part of a team for generation of overall systems requirements and concepts.

·          Was the Track Lead for the Content Management Module which involved work using Vignette Story Server and Oracle8i

Project Concept: www.Intralutions.com is a Global Site which gives its Customers the facility of a Web-based Desktop to manage a company's Data, contacts, people, and tasks. It provides anywhere, anytime protected access to important business data and resources and the ability to instantly connect remote, branch and regional offices. Among other features, it lets a company/individual Upload and Download files. Each File/Directory can have it's own access right regarding who can just read the file Or who can write/delete, etc. Locking and unlocking the files is also an integral feature of the Site. The module which was assigned to us was called Single Step Saving of files. Through a Windows like Explorer, we had to help the User Upload and Download the Files from/to the Server, on a single click. Once an authorized user has downloaded a particular file for writing, it has to be locked on the Server and no one else can download it for writing. He can only view it but not upload it back. Other features too were a part of our Module.
My Responsibilities: · Studying the Technical Feasibility of the Project · Going through the Technical Aspects and Estimating the project timelines. · Design and Implementation of Modules Assigned like Trusted Applets , Policy Based Control, etc.

·          Going through the Technical Aspects and Estimating the project timelines.

·          Design and Implementation of the Security Layer (called the WTLS or Wireless Transport Layer Security)
