Basically, what happens in this episode is, Gabrielle is injured with a poison arrow, she is near death and Xena cannot find the medicine. Gabrielle wants Xena to take care of the Persian army because Xena promised some people she would. Xena fights the army with only one wound, as usual on her upper arm. While Xena battles below Gabrielle waits up stairs with a cauldron of liquid lead, Xena is hanging from the ceiling when she yells frantically for Gabrielle to push the lead onto the army,{Gabby is in a loft}. Gabrielle, although very weak manages to pudh the heavy couldron over. Then Xena says, "Now go home, there are thousands more like me." The remaining soldiers leave. Xena gives Gabrielle the medicine and they go to sleep.
