The price

Xena and Gabrielle are fishing sharing some good old times; when down the stream floats dead bodies,they have been killed by some warriors called the Horde Seems Xena has faced these guys in the past and they are very hard to get rid of. She goes to help this camp of soldiers that are fighting aginst them and becomes once again filled with blood lust. She forgets her compassionet side and tries to reclaim her warrior status. It is gabrielle who finnaly whips her back into shape. But first she must test her courage to stand against Xena's orders of how she wanted the injured people taken care of. She insits that the food  only go to those who can fight and that when they die their bodies are to be put out on the wall to make it look like there are more people in the compond then there realy are. Gabrielle proves to xena that fighting is not the only anser when she figures out that the dieing soldiers from the horde just want water and she goes to give them water. This leads to a peace and a short time of the fighting is stopted. Xena finnaly relizes that to end the fight she has  to face the leader of the horde in a battle of honor. A warrior fight. She wins and the leader is killed by the rest of the horde. Xena tells Gabrielle that if there is ever to be anyone to stop them it won't be people like Xena it wil be someone like Gabrielle. Lyla
