Reading and Reciting the Qur'an

1.
Abu Moosa Al-Ash'aaree (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what translated means:

" The example of a believer who reads the Quran is that of a citrus fruit: it tastes good and smells good. The example of a believer who does not read the Quran is that of a date: it tastes good but has no scent. The example of a hypocrite who reads the Quran is that of a sweet basil flower (raihanah): it has a sweet scent but tastes bitter. The example of a hypocrite who does not read the Quran is that of colocynth (hanthalah): it tastes bitter and has no scent. "
(Bukhari)

Abu Moosa Al-Asha'aree (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what translated means:

" Take care of the Quran (by continuous recitation)! By He in Whose hand my soul is, it is more likely to escape (i.e, be forgotten) than camels released from their binding ropes. "
