Faith

1.
Verily the creation of each of you is brought together in the mother's belly for forty days in the form of a seed, then he is a clot of blood for a like period, then a morsel of flesh for a like period, then there is sent to him the angel who blows the breath of life into him and who is commanded about four matters: to write down his means of livelihood, his life span, his actions, and whether happy or unhappy. By Allah, other than whom there is no diety, verily one of you behaves like the people of Paradise until there is but and arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written overtakes him and so he behaves like the people of Hellfire until there is but an arm's length between him and it, and that which has been written overtakes him and so he behaves like the people of Paradise and thus he enters it.
Bukhari and Muslim

2.
Make (religious) matters easy for people; do not make them difficult! Give people glad tidings; do not repel them!
Bukhari

3.
Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that while the messenger of Allah (SAW) was sitting out for the people, a man came and asked what translated means:
"What is Iman (Faith, Belief)?"
The messenger of Allah (SAW) replied:
"Iman is to believe in Allah, His angels, meeting Him (after death), His messengers, and in resurrection."
The man asked:
"What is Islam?"
The messenger of Allah (SAW) replied:
"Islam is to worship Allah without associating partners with Him, to establish the prayers, to pay zakat and to fast Ramadan."
The man asked:
"What is Ishan (perfection)?"
The messenger of Allah (SAW) replied:
"Ishan is to worship Allah as if you can see Him and be conscious that even though you cannot see Him, He can see you."
The man asked:
"When is the Hour (Day of Judgement)?"
The messenger of Allah (SAW) replied:
"He who is asked has no more knowledge of it than the one who is asking, but I will tell you about some of it's signs: When a slave woman gives birth to her master and when the camel shepherds compete in constructing tall buildings. It (the Hour) is among five things of knowledge of which is only with Allah."
Then he (SAW) recited verse 34 of Surat Luqman (31):
"Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He who sends down rain and He who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does anyone know what he will earn tomorrow nor does anyone know in what land he is to die. Verily, with Allah is full knowledge and He is aquainted with all things."
The man went away. The messenger (SAW) asked his companions to call him back but they could not find a trace of him. He (SAW) said:
"This was Jibreel (Gabriel). He came to teach the people their religion."
Bukhari

4.
Narrated AbuMalik:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: He who professed that there is no god but Allah and made a denial of everything which the people worship besides Allah, his property and blood became inviolable, and their affairs rest with Allah.
(Muslim)

5.
Narrated Uthman ibn Affan:
The Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: He who died knowing (fully well) that there is no god but Allah entered Paradise.
(Muslim)

6.
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
We were accompanying the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) in a march (towards Tabuk). He (the narrator) said: The provisions of the people were almost depleted. He (the narrator) said: (And the situation became so critical) that they (the men of the army) decided to slaughter some of their camels.
He (the narrator) said: Upon this Umar said: Messenger of Allah, I wish you to pool what has been left from the provisions of the people and then invoke (the blessings of) Allah upon it. He (the narrator) said: He (the Holy Prophet) did it accordingly. He (the narrator) said: The one who had wheat in his possession brought wheat. He who had dates with him brought dates. And Mujahid said: He who possessed date-stone brought date-stones. I (the narrator) said: What did they do with the date-stones? They said: They (the people) sucked them and then drank water over them. He (the narrator said): He (the Holy Prophet) invoked the blessings (of Allah) upon them (the provisions). He (the narrator) said: (And there was such a miraculous increase in the supplies) that the people replenished their provisions fully. He (the narrator) said:
At that time he (the Holy Prophet) said: I bear testimony to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and I am His messenger. The bondsman who meets Allah without entertaining any doubt about these (two fundamentals) will enter heaven.
(Muslim)
