Funerals

Abu Hurairah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
" Hurry up with the funeral. If it (the dead person) was righteous,
you are bringing it towards goodness. If it was otherwise, then it
is an evil that you take off your necks (shoulders). "

Amer son of Rabee'ah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said
what translated means:
" If one of you sees a funeral procession in which he is not
participating he should stand up until it has passed him by, he
has passed it by, or it has been laid to rest in his presence. "

Abd Allah (RAA) reported that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said what
translated means:
" He who slaps his cheeks (in response to the death of a loved one),
tears his clothes, and follows the traditions of the Days of Ignorance
is not one of us. "
