Penitence

1.
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar RAA. relates that the Holy Prophet SAW said:
"Allah, the Lord of Honor and Glory, will accept the repentance of His servant till the death rattle begins."

Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari R.A.A relates that the Holy Prophet SAW has said:
"Allah will continue to hold out His hand at night so that he who has sinned during the day may repent, and to hold out His hand during the day so that one who has sinned at night might repent, and Allah will continue to do so till the sun rises from the west." ie. Judgment Day( The Day of Resurrection)

Hazrat Anas bin Malik R.A.A, an attendant of the Holy Prophet SAW reports that the Prophet SAW said:
"Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than would be one of you who were to lose his camel in a barren desert and then find it suddenly."
(Bukhari and Muslim)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah R.A.A relates that he heard the Holy Prophet SAW say:
"Allah is my witness, that I seek His forgiveness and turn to Him more than seventy times a day."
(Bukhari)
