My name is Mike George, i'm 19, i currently live in maryland, where im trying to find a new job and get my shit straightened out again, i really don't know what to say about myself.....i have brown hair.. my eyes change color often, i have my lip, my ear and my eyebrow pierced, i weigh about 140, i am not a punk, i am not an anarchist, and i don't do anything to fit in, i'm a socialist, i believe unity is what the world needs, i'm anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobia, anti-white supremacy, anti-war, anti-government, anti-capitalism, i believe that everyone should be able to handle their own affairs without needing to be governed and told what to do, here are my thoughts of the government..
The Purpose of Government (7 Theories)
1. To promote Gods will
One God does not exist. Different people have
different Gods, and even between people who worship
the same God there are arguments and
disagreements. There have been many holy wars where
one state attacks another to promote Gods will.
2. To serve the interests of the most powerful.
The most obvious problem here is that this serves the
few, instead of the many. It will only breed
inequality, hatred and violence.
3. To protect people from each other.
In any system, people are NOT truly protected from
each other. Murders, robberies, rapes and other crimes
still happen. The government tries to
punish these people after they commit a crime, but are
fairly ineffective at stopping them before
crime happens. Instead they severely limit the actions
and freedom of the citizens by creating
legislation that isn’t needed.
4. To promote the general welfare.
There are many problems with this theory, but they are
less obvious than in the others. One of the
big ones is that many people are still unhappy,
and they are all violated, by having their freedom
limited while not everyone benefits.
5. To conserve a traditional order and culture.
People will retain their culture as long as they want
to, whether the government enforces it or not.
Further problems arise when immigration is brought
into the picture. The immigrants may have
a different culture than that of the state that
they have moved to. Are they to give up their
original culture in favour of the new one?
6. To develop and control the economy.
Time has proven that this does not work. There can be
little to no control over some economic forces,
others can be controlled for a while but
ultimately any efforts will be made in vain and
the economy will continue on its original course,
no matter how hard the government tries to alter
it. This is especially true now, when the economy
of one state depends so much on the economy of another.
7. To make people equal.
So far no government has been able to achieve this
goal. It is my opinion that none ever will.
Racism, Sexism, economic discrimination, and
others will continue as long as people continue to
place so much value on things such as money,
power, ethnicity and sexuality.
Even though i listen to punk rock and i'm an anarchist i don't consider myself a punk, i try to not put myself into a class off people, just like i don't stereotype other people unless there is reason... ok i'm out of thoughts i'll add to this later...
AS OF 8/3/99.....i updated my page a bit again today, didn't do much just added some stuff to the snot page....but i'm still working on it so it may have more soon.

AS OF 9/30/99......yep i'm off work today some i'm gonna spiff up my page a bit.....i added music and i'm gonna add some new links later, if i feel up to it, .......GOOD NEWS, i'm redoing my page, so if you don't have flash i recommend you get it, i'm doing a lot of stuff like flash and DHTML on my new page, i've started about 2 weeks ago but haven't done much too it since....well take it easy and sign my guestbook.....
10/24/00.......well i'm finally starting to get back online a bit...a lot of shit has happened the past few months, i ran away from my foster parents and stole a couple cars, right now i'm in a crisis shelter until i'm 18.....Dec. 14, and all this bullshit is behind me....at least in this state. Anyhow for anyone who really gives a shit and reads my page in the future I will be updating it in the next few months, i'm gonna learn a lot more Html and javascript and get some cool shit on here for anyone that like Hardcore/Metal/Industrial...so till then to all my friends in Mt. Storm I just wanna say "What's Up" and I'll see ya'll when i'm outta this joint. later
OH shit! and also i'm gonna start working on a lot more pages and i'll post them in the next few months i wanna get them done before I post them though. For anyone that likes A Perfect Circle keep checking in on my page cause i'm using a lot of new stuff i've learned on my new pages i'll also have tour dates and articles about the bands, i'm also working on a Union Underground page, this is a real cool band I heard of just recently they were at X-Fest and i'm also gonna start on a Marilyn Manson page. Manson just hooked back up with Trent Reznor of NIN and they're working on a new album it's bound to be at least as good as anti-christ svperstar was. I'm also thinking about doing a EMINEM page, I don't care much for rap but i gotta give it to the guy, he's got a lot of good/funny shit. OH and also a smashing pumpkins page....well that's about it for now i gotta go.... later
11/30/00......well this is the first time I've been on the internet since the last time i updated and obviously nobody's looked at my page lately since i don't keep track of my counter.....cause it's broke... so please if you visit my page please sign my guestbook so i know you were here... thanks
