My Brag Page

Here in no particular order are some of my favorite things I've stitched over the last 14 years. Most were stitched for Ilana.

Betsy Ross's house, one of the very first large pieces I did.

This piece won 3rd prize at a local fair in 1998. The charts are from the Crossed Wing Collection.

These bookmarks are from a 6 person bookmark exchange I am in. The ones on the left were bookmarks I received and the ones on the right were stitched by me for people in the exchange. Since I love to read I loved being in this exchange. There were 2 months in between mailing dates so this was a very easy exchange to do and I enjoyed it very much.

This is the center of a pillow.

Stitched for my daughter, Ilana.

These mittens were stitched on 14 count brown perforated plastic. Suggestions for using these are ornaments, gift tags, secret pal gifts, miniature tree decorations and so on. I can't remember which Leisure Arts leaflet I got the pattern from but I love these.

Stitched on a prefinished pillowcase for Ilana

Part one of a 3 part series called "Amid Amish Life" I'm still stitching on part 2 and will put it up here when its finished.

This piece won First Place & a Judges Choice award at a local fair in 1998. It is from a kit and one of the few kits I have ever done. I have to admit I cried when I saw the purple ribbon. This was entered in the Christmas category which is one of the most competitive areas of the fair & I never expected to win first place, and especially did not expect to win Judge's Choice. I was astounded when I saw the blue and purple ribbons.

My favorite artist is Norman Rockwell so I had to stitch this. I kept track of the time it took me to stitch it: 500 hours!

This was stitched for someone who I consider to be a dear friend & a wonderful person.
