Round Robin Projects Page Three
This was sent to me by Tammy Grondin with this message:
"I did this for my
dear husband, Larry. For his birthday.
We are big NASCAR fans and especially Petty fans."
This picture was sent to me by Tiffany and was stitched by her. Too cute!
She got the design from "For the Love of Cross Stitch", November 1998 issue and says: "If I was
to do this one again, though, I would want to use evenweave - too many 1/4 stitches!"
This was sent by Jeanette Sanna with this message:" I wanted to send along this cat that was stitched for Annie Stone in
RR#09-1198A."
These 3 pictures were sent to me by Tiffany Silver.
The one on the left is an a towel she stitched for Casey Carroll, whose theme
was nautical. The middle picture is 2 Tiny Tucks she did for an exchange and
the last one is an egg shaped box she did for a Christmas exchange in 1998.
This was sent by Tina Moy. It is Just Nan's Primrose Path.
This beautiful hummer banner picture was submitted by
Tina Moy and was finished by her on Mother's Day 1999.
This beautiful bookmark was stitched by Timlie as part of a bookmark exchange. I am in a bookmark exchange also & they are a lot of fun. Contact Patricia Shulch for information on how to get involved in one - the link is on page one.
This belongs to Sue Paradise and was stitched by her along with Shelly Brooks, Erica Martin & Sandie Payton. Sue said in her email that it is gorgeous & I have to agree with her. This appears to be an example of a robin where no squares were defined for the stitchers to work in but rather placement was left up to each stitcher.
This Looney Tunes sampler belongs to Paula Daniels and was stitched by Paula, Tammy, Erica & Tina. Thanks for the great picture Tammy.
This was sent by Tina Moy with this message:
"Here is a picture of Donna Holdridge's country sampler I just finished up for
her. I did the top right corner square of the daffodils". In addition
to Tina and Donna, Renee Hagerty and Jean Conway stitched on this project.
Two wonderful
examples of international robins. The left one was sent by Pat Mackenzie: "I have just finished my second RR - a five person International one. It went to Anu in Finland, Aniza in Maylasia, Jacky in England, Timlie in the US, and me (Pat) in Canada. My theme
was "National Wonders - natural or manmade" and I was very pleased with the results. I still have to do borders on it, but wanted to send you a copy regardless. Some of the others in
the group were going to send you pictures of theirs as well. The one on the right belongs to Anu.
