Make Your Own

It's easy to flavor with the Stinkin Rose. Just by adding a peeled clove or 2 to bottles of vinegar or oil, and let stand for 2-3 days, you end up with a very nice taste in your oils or vinegar's.

To make your own garlic salt, just bury 3-4 pressed garlic cloves in a half a cup of salt. You can also add some ground pepper or ground ginger if you like. Let it stand for a few days in an airtight jar. Then you can remove the garlic and use the salt as you like to flavor soups, meats, salads and even popcorn.

Make logs of garlic butter and freeze them to have on hand. You can add the garlic butter to cooked veggies or as a spread on bread or just melt it on broiled meats. To make just add mashed or pressed garlic to softened butter. You can also add some of your favorite herbs. Mix well and form logs, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. Now you can slice off as needed. To start I recommend using 2-3 cloves to a stick of butter, and then you can always adjust to taste next time.
