Well here's some poetry. If you have a poem that you want on this page e-mail it to me, and if I like it I'll add it.

WOE

Woe is the world today
gun toating kids and acid rain
computers won't comply
and roaches won't die
nuclear winter or genocide
your choice you decide
in a world where "love" is said too much
yet felt not enough
in a world where trust is lost
still there are some who pay the cost
in a world where no amount is enough
but in a second it could all turn to dust
in a world where no one can hear your screams
of course they can't they're only in your dreams
just because no one will do you right
you leave your pain for you only, and only at night
at the end of the day when it all comes down on you
you let it go because that's all you know to do
don't let a drop from your heart leak
for then the world would know you're weak
keep the pain deep inside
so in your own mind you can hide
show yourself your weakness
and plead for your forgiveness
for it is only you that you forgive
and only then may you surely live
forget those thoughts you think
you know for sure that your not weak
forget the lies they say
you find truth someday
let them crumble let them fall
let them die if it's the end of it all
even if it doesnt end
you know it will happen again
I know it might be sad
but it's really not that bad
just live life day by day
and maybe help someone on the way
then maybe you'll see the grand scheme
then again it could be another dream
but thats how things start out
and some do come true without a doubt
maybe we will see the err of our ways
find it in the corner of this twisted maze
it is true life is somewhat a game
the bad thing is you have to play
so many lose and so few win
too bad we can't try again
maybe it's for the best
but it looks like we've failed the final test
so let it end today if it may
here's the dice I don't wanna play

The time is now

If you are ever going to love me,
Love me now, while I can know
The sweet and tender feelings.
Which from true affections flow.
Love me now
While I am living
Do not wait until I'm gone
And then have it chiseled
in marble
Sweet words on ice-cold stone.
If you have tender thoughts of me,
Please tell me now.
If you wait until I am sleeping,
Never to awaken,
There will be death between us,
And I won't hear you then.
So, if you love me, even a little bit,
Let me know it while I am living.
So I can treasure it.

Thinking of you

Just for who and what you are
The world's a better place
You're exceptionally unique
Truly distinct.

Your impact on my life
Cannot be overlooked
You are supportive and caring
To the end
I'm so glad you're the way you are.

Even during difficult times
You take the time to listen ...
You are perceptive to my feelings
And try your best to understand me
Having you around is a gift
A priceless, precious gift.

When others would turn away
You have understood
When others would condemn and judge
You have understood
You are very special to me.

You're with me
In my thoughts today ...
And everyday
Recalling sweet moments
And imagining future times together
I think of you and smile.

How you feel and what you think
Matter to me
You are important ...
Never forget that

I CARE!

My Thoughts Of You

Sometimes the things we feel deepest
And mean the most
Are the most difficult to express
There seem to be no words that say
How thankful I am of you.

Of how you make a difference
The impact you have made in my world
You’ve contributed so much to my life

This is how I see you
Whatever your words or actions
I always see how
You are caring and supportive
So much of what you do
Comes from the heart

You are a gentle, giving person
beyond a doubt
I thank you for your thoughtfulness
It means so much to me
You make me feel safe and warm
I notice your specialness
Your kind-hearted soul

I’m glad our lives have touched
Having you as my friend
I think to myself
What more can I ask
Than to have a friend in you

How you feel and what you think
Matter to me
You are important to me
Never forget that
I care for you

Just having you as a true and loyal friend
Brings joy to my life
Our friendship means the world to me
Our friendship, I will always carry in my heart
Wherever I go, whatever I do
And hold dear each moment we’re together

I just want you to know that
No matter what is said or done that
You will always be my
“My Most Treasured Friend!”

OUR FRIENDSHIP

From the day we met,
Inside me something altered,
Really it is beyond understanding
As I know the change
Is because of you.

One derives a beautiful feeling
From our friendship,
I hope it never ends,
So unique,
So sincere.

It's as if, your inner self,
Your loving soul with virtuous strength
Reached out and touched mine,
As your touch was so gentle
It was then and only then
That I felt you change my life.

Yes, looking into your caring eyes
I want to hold onto you real tight,
And feel real safe within your arms.
Words just cannot describe you,
As there are no such words.

Touch me with your feelings,
And I will touch you with mine.

If I was not to 'love you' my friend,
A fool I would certainly be,
So come to me and hold my hand
And we can be there for each other
Through the light of the day,
And the darkness of the night.

I want to be there with you,
Through all your nightmares
And sweet dreams.
I want us to see through
All the darkness and onto the light
Just believe in me,
As I do you.

I give to you my complete,
Friendship and Understanding.

Little Chat Rooms Have Big Hearts

It took a little chat room to help
Me cross many miles and oceans,
To find the true love of my life.

Though he is so far away I can hear his heart beating,
And can feel his lips upon my cheek in a gentle kiss.
I can feel the warmth of his soul,
As I read the words from his heart.

Those gentle words that stole my heart,
And joined our two souls as one.
Here and now I commit myself body,
And soul for the whole world to see,
That I am his and his alone.

I will never be able to love another as much as I do him.
God made each woman to fit with just one man,
Like two jigsaw puzzle pieces that fit together to form a heart.
And we fit perfectly.

Now that we are one may God give us the strength,
To put aside any fears or doubts,
And just love one another as we were meant to.
To think this all started in a little chat room.

But now we know little chat rooms have big hearts.

I am thinking of you

In my sleepless solitude tonite
If it is wrong to love you
Then my heart just won't let me be right
Cause I have drowned in you
And I won't pull through
Without you by my side...

I'd give my all
To have just one night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of your song
I'd give me all for your love..

Baby can you feel me
Imagining I'm looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly
Vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you're so far
Like a distant star
I'm wishing on tonight

You say you love me

But you barely know me
You are so sweet
You stole me heart at first glance
Now, I want it back
because, I have fallen in love with someone else

I don't want to hurt you
God knows how much it must hurt
To leave someone so dearly
But, life goes on
Our heart will go on
I do love you
But not as much as you love me
Please forgive me, I never meant to cause you this much hurt...

I've learned -

That you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is
Be someone who can be loved.
The rest is up to them.

I've learned -
That no matter how much I care,
Some people just don't care back.

I've learned -
That it takes years to build up trust,
And only seconds to destroy it.

I've learned -
That it's not what you have in your life
But who you have in your life that counts.

I've learned -
That you can get by on charm
For about fifteen minutes.
After that, you'd better know something.

I've learned -
That you shouldn't compare
Yourself to the best others can do
But to the best you can do.

I've learned -
That it's not what happens to people
That's important. It's what they do about it.

I've learned -
That you can do something in an instant
That will give you heartache for life.

I've learned -
That no matter how thin you slice it,
There are always two sides.

I've learned -
That it's taking me a long time
To become the person I want to be.

I've learned -
That it's a lot easier
To react than it is to think.

I've learned -
That you should always leave
Loved ones withloving words.
It may be the last time you see them.

I've learned -
That you can keep going
Long after you think you can't.

I've learned -
That we are responsible for what we do,
No matter how we feel.

I've learned -
That either you control your attitude
Or it controls you.

I've learned -
That regardless of how hot and steamy
A relationship is at first,
The passion fades and there had better be
Something else to take its place.

I've learned -
That heroes are the people
Who do what has to be done
When it needs to be done,
Regardless of the consequences.

I've learned -
That learning to forgive takes practice.

I've learned -
That there are people who love you dearly,
But just don't know how to show it.

I've learned -
That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I've learned -
That my best friend and I can do anything
Or nothing and have the best time.

I've learned -
That sometimes the people you expect
To kick you when you're down
Will be the ones to help you get back up.

I've learned -
That sometimes when I'm angry
I have the right to be angry,
But that doesn't give me
The right to be cruel.

I've learned -
That true friendship continues to grow,
Even over the longest distance.
Same goes for true love.

I've learned -
That just because someone doesn't love you
The way you want them to doesn't mean
They don't love you with all they have.

I've learned -
That maturity has more to do with
What types of experiences you've had
And what you've learned from them
And less to do with how many
Birthdays you've celebrated.

I've learned -
That you should never tell a child
Their dreams are unlikely or outlandish.
Few things are more humiliating, and
What a tragedy it would be
If they believed it.

I've learned -
That your family won't always
Be there for you. It may seem funny,
But people you aren't related to
Can take care of you and love you
And teach you to trust people again.
Families aren't biological.

I've learned -
That no matter how good a friend is,
They're going to hurt you
Every once in a while
And you must forgive them for that.

I've learned -
That it isn't always enough
To be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn
To forgive yourself.

I've learned -
That no matter how bad
Your heart is broken
The world doesn't stop for your grief.

I've learned -
That our background and circumstances
May have influenced who we are,
But we are responsible for who we become.

I've learned -
That sometimes when my friends fight,
I'm forced to choose sides
Even when I don't want to.

I've learned -
That just because two people argue,
It doesn't mean they don't love each other
And just because they don't argue,
It doesn't mean they do.

I've learned -
That sometimes you have to put
The individual ahead of their actions.

I've learned -
That we don't have to change friends
If we understand that friends change.

I've learned -
That you shouldn't be so Eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

I've learned -
That two people can look
At the exact same thing
And see something totally different.

I've learned -
That no matter how you try to protect
Your children, they will eventually get hurt
And you will hurt in the process.

I've learned -
That there are many ways of falling
And staying in love.

I've learned -
That no matter the consequences,
Those who are honest with themselves
Get farther in life.

I've learned -
That no matter how many friends you have,
If you are their pillar you will feel lonely
And lost at the times you need them most.

I've learned -
That your life can be changed
In a matter of hours
By people who don't even know you.

I've learned -
That even when you think
You have no more to give,
When a friend cries out to you,
You will find the strength to help.

I've learned -
That writing, as well as talking,
Can ease emotional pains.

I've learned -
That the paradigm we live in
Is not all that is offered to us.

I've learned -
That credentials on the wall
Do not make you a decent human being.

I've learned -
That the people you care most about in life
Are taken from you too soon.

I've learned -
That although the word "love"
Can have many different meanings,
It loses value when overly used.

I've learned - That it's hard
to determine
Where to draw the line
Between being nice and
Not hurting people's feelings
And standing up for what you believe.

Friendship

Friendship is a special relationship to share in.
Some consider it a gift from above
And was meant for those who you love.
A friend is a person you can talk to about anything.
You can trust them, love them,
Confide in them, hug them.
Never underestimate what a friend can do for you.
Because when you need them most,
They will be there for you.
So pass this to someone you really care about,
Someone you think about,
When they're having hard times.
Send this to friends who mean so much to you.
Let them know that you care,
And that you'll always be there.

I've got to break

From these chains somehow
From the love we called our vary own
All that's left are the memories
Now you've gone
Your heart has turned to stone.
I know I've got to be patient
Maybe time will heal
My deepest pain
What can I do until then
Thoughts of you are still running
All over again.
Shining dreams of us together
They keep blowing my mind
What I thought would be forever
Now you've left me behind
And I'm living in the shadows
I'll never be free
Till my heart begins to let go.
You left me crying
Broken, when I needed you
To be right there
like the colors of a rainbow sky
I've been fading away
Without you by my side.

I Remember...

I remember it so clearly now
You and me on the sandy beach
And look at us now
You always used to say
That I meant the world to you
And that you would never leave me
But now here I am
Alone in my bed

I remember when
you used to lay beside me
In my bed
I remember so much now
The way you used to kiss me
So gentle and sweet
The way you would hold me
While I was asleep
Oh, what I would give
To have you hold me once again
I remember
When you once said you loved me

Why

Why did you say you loved me
And then leave me
Why did you say forever
When you knew we weren't meant to be
Why can't you see
You are hurting me so
Why won't you forgive me
And hold me close
God know, I love you so
Why did you choose
To toss us away
I need you now
More than ever

~Yesterday...

Fiesty(Grr...)

She smiled at him, and said "don’t ever leave me"
It would bruise my soul, and paralyze my heart..
He said You’re the one that I have always dreamed of
… I would rather die, than tear your world apart..

As time went on, they had themselves a wedding..
White lace and crinoline divine..
Black tuxedo’s, and flower girls were endless..
And they pledged their love, with all their heart and mind..

Two years later, She becomes a Mother..
Little girl ,with Daddy’s chin and eyes…
And he’s rocking her to sleep, his little angel...
She’s made such a difference, to each one of their lives..

Time flies by, years melt away now…
Little girl, now a woman on her own..
Daddy still considers her his angel..
And Mama can’t believe how fast she’d grown..

Gray hair, and withered hands are shaky..
Just seems harder to move along the way…
50 golden years are long behind them
Though they love, as if it happened yesterday..

Time moves on, the clock of life keeps ticking..
Seems to move a little faster every day
Little Girl , a mother and a grandma
With kids too young to realize she can’t play..

Widower and Widows become lonely..
Thinking back to the days of way back when..
Sleeping as they pass on forever…
Knowing they will never see..
Yesterday again..

Family ,Friends, and memories are lifes treasure’s..
Everyday brings us closer to the end..
But instead of being saddened by this story..
Make each day, Count for something..
And live again..
