Answer the Phone!


(KITCHEN WITH TABLE--MORNING.  The kitchen is sparkling clean.  With a 
small radio playing in the corner.  It is playing some light ³poppy² 
music.  Itıs a Saturday morning around 10:30 or 11:00.  A VOICE is heard 
from upstairs.  The voice sounds irratable.)

VOICE:
	Can someone get the phone?!

(The phone isn't ringing.)

VOICE:
	Answer the friginı phone!

(The phone still isn't ringing.)

VOICE:
	Answer the phone-

(Another voice is heard, interupting the first voice.)

VOICE 2:
	  The phone isnıt ringing, hoser!  Itıs in your head!  
	  You forgot to take your medication!

(This causes the first voice to pause in its yelling.)

VOICE:
	Answer the phone, dammit!

(The phone isn't ringing)
