Ila Lee Brackin Watson 95, of Thicket formerly of Pineland passed away on Tuesday January 9, 2007 at Memorail Medical Center in Livingston. A native of Thicket she lived in Thicket and was a homemaker and a member of The Pineland Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Watson Parents; Monroe and Roxie Brackin, Sisters; Etola Brackin, Edna Moye, Bessie Shaw, Loris Loftin and Mable Niemann. Brothers; Hernon Brackin, Fayte Brackin, and Yancy Brackin. Survivors include sister; Lorraine Payne of Saratoga along with numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Wilma Lea Gandy Work, 82, of Vidor died May 2, 2002 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. A native of Kountze, and a lifetime area resident, she retired as a sales clerk for Morgan and Linsey. Mrs. Work loved quilting, gardening, traveling, church activities, family, reading and sewing. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Broussard's, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze. Survivors include her sons, Glenn Alexander Work and his wife Sue of Beaumont and Clifford Gene Work and his wife Sissy of Jacksonville; daughter Sonya Perry of Humble; grandchildren, Scott Work, Chris Work, Sidney Work, Raquel Harris, Elizabeth Townsend, and Shanee Kirk; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Leroy "Pat" Pattillo, 85, of Mont Belvieu was born April 8, 1925 in Elk Spring, MO and passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 in a local hospital. He was a U. S. Army Air Corps WWII veteran and a member of Baptist Temple in Baytown and the Anahuac Masonic Lodge #995. He held a private pilot's license and was a member of the Anahuac Flying Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy, Sr. and Gladys Pattillo and wife, Ruby Pattillo. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Marlene Pattillo of Old River-Winfree; daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Al Howell of Mont Belvieu and Jan and Kent Ping of Huffman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Yvonne and Talmedge Adams of Pasadena and Karen and Gene Morris of Houston; grandchildren and their spouses, Bobby and Karen Pattillo of Atascosita, Bret and Melissa Fisher of Mont Belvieu, Carole and Al LaRose of Montgomery, Tracey Pattillo of Houston, Daniel and Alisha Pattillo of Houston, Jay and Ashley Ainsworth of Baytown, Matt Howell of Houston, Staci and Brian Adams of Friendswood, Amy and Russell Niemann of Houston, Russell Tippen of Seabrook, and Emily and Pat Cripps of Ashburn, VA; and 12 great grandchildren.
