Rainey was born c. 1811 in Greenville Co., SC and died after 1860. He married Nellie Gist (Nellie is probably a nickname for Eleanor?).
Nellie Gist was b. c. 1804 in KY and probably died between the 1850-1860 censuses.
I believe Malissa is Rainey's sister.

William was b. 7 Aug. 1801 in Pendleton Dist., SC and d. between 1870-1875. He m. 19 Oct. 1825 in Habersham Co., GA to Margaret Dobbs, dau. of David and Margaret. She was b. 18 Dec. 1807 in TN and d. 14 Nov. 1875.
