Mary Chasteen is the widow of Henry Chastain, perhaps the son of James Chastain and his wife Elizabeth (James being a possible son of Stephen Chastain of Anderson Co., SC).
Henry was b. c. 1833 in SC and probably d. after the 1870 census but before the 1880 census in Indiana.
