Elizabeth Lloyd
Elizabeth Lloyd was b. about 1826 in Clarke Co., AL. She m. Clark Gilbert probably in Clarke Co., AL c. 1853. I have not been able to find this family in the 1860 census so if anyone can tell me where they can be found I'd appreciate it. Perhaps they were missed on that census. I don't know where she is in 1880 census either. Did she remarry? I have a note that she died in Grimes Co., TX where the rest of her family had moved to but I don't have a death date.

I don't know where the rest of the family is in 1880 but there is an Allen Gilbert listed in the home of Elizabeth's sister Sarah Ann Stringer in Grimes Co., TX. Allen is listed as age 21, nephew. This must be Daniel A. from the 1870 census although the age is off a few years. Where are the other children? Did Elizabeth die before 1880?
