Shadowy Figure Surprises Us in Dark of Night

My wife and I were in bed. We were wide awake enjoying each other's
company when we heard some wind chimes. We both thought that was odd for we had
never remembered hearing them before. Well we noticed something unusual come
through the doorway entrance. It was darker than the surrounding darkness in
our bedroom. It kind of just came to its shape, almost a typical ghostly
shape I guess but it was very symetrical. It almost looked robic because the
arms and shoulders were straight edges, straight angles across and downward,
arms were very long, it had no legs but its torso extended down below to where
you would expect to see legs. Its head was in the shape of a smooth rise from
the shoulders no neck at all, kind of like a bell curve. I could see no detail
at all but just the siloutte or outline of the figure. Blacker than black. It
hovered in a very stationary position above our the end of our bed for about
30-40 seconds I believe. It then just whoooooshed by us almost the same sound
you hear when you have a narrow stick and swing it through the air fast. It was
the strangest thing I have ever seen in my life. I have never done drugs. I
enjoy science. I am a big fan of Carl Sagans who is about as big as skeptic as
you will ever find. I have never seen anything similar before. I did not psych
myself up to see something by watching a science fiction show or horror movie.
We were just plain enjoying each others company. I want to mention that when it
went by us it went right beside our bed out through the wall behind us. This event
occured I believe about 1985. It was in the summer time. I was not so much
scared as I was annoyed. I was also fascinated by the experience and wanted to
be as good abserver of this as I could. I wish Carl Sagan could have seen it. Maybe
he could have come up with an answer but I sure could not. We are discovering
new things all the time in science and I believe one day we will have answers to
today's questions. This was a paranormal event. When we undertand these events
they will no longer be labeled as paranormal again. My wife and I both saw this
thing, whatever it was. If you ask me if I believe in intelligent life elsewhere
you are darn right. Like Carl Sagan says billions and billions of stars in one
galaxy and there are billions of galaxies. I think the odds are in my favor.
Look at the meteorite from Mars. That adds more credence to it. I do not know
what I saw, but I SAW IT!! You all can say what you want but I know I will always
know I SAW IT!! I have seen UFOs before. One time back in 1977. That was unusual
too! They were far away, 2 oval shape, paper white, no clouds in the sky, on the
horizon, above the tree line. I was driving in my car and spotted them on the
horizon. The one in front was flying at a lower altitude than the one behind it.
I used some pocket change in my pocket for size comparison. They were about the
size of dimes. They went from n. to s. did not change altitude, of course just a
straight course until they could no longer be seen. I want you all to know I
am not a religious person for one reason is that people are fighting too much over
this. People are dying over this!!! I do like to take what makes sense out of all
religions and belief systems and incorporate them into my being. I am tolerant
of them but they do not tolerate me. I feel at odds with a lot of people. I
guess I am telling you all this to give you some kind of background on me. I wish
everybody oculd see something like this. I have one other thing that happened
in my life I could not explain. I literally dreamed about my niece dying 2
weeks before she died and almost to the letter how she died. I woke up sweating
and crying that she was killed in a car accident. All I remember was just agony
or emotion from it occuring and then I woke up. About 3 years earlier before
this had occured I remember asking her if she was a safe bike rider. She said
she was. I took a picture of her on her bike smiling and happy as a Lark. I asked
her that because I wanted her to know how important it was. I told my sister about
this through all of the emotiom at the funeral. She told me that her daughter
had known that she was going to die. My sister also had said that an ceramic
angel had fallen off of a mantle place and broken it was her daughters favorite, and
got some bad vibes from this. Years later my sister sends me an Indian Petroglyph
that resembles the shadow figure we see in our room. It was a reproduction. It
makes me wonder about some of the things the Indians may have seen years ago.
Now you people out there EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. I hope you can!!! EXPLAIN IT TO ME
