Macdonald's This place is #1 on my evil list. It's a horrible bad bad place to go. There gross and revolt me and should you as well. They do bad things to the environment and your body.
Let's get right into this…
Macdonald's destroys the rainforest. You think that its just big bad companies you have never heard of, well this big bad company that you have heard of does it. The go and buy a plot of rainforest land, they clear down all the trees, and put cows there to graze. Now, it doesn't sound that bad, I will admit that, but the part I can not deal with is the fact that those plots of land, after being trampled buy hundreds of cows, doesn't ever grow back. They can plant more grass there, sure, but the rich rainforest land that was once there, will never come back. Now I just don't understand this, why the fucking rainforest? Isn't that supposedly precious and endangered-why then, grow cows on it, just so they can be eaten. And they don't stop there, no, no, because once the grass is gone, they move the cows to another plot of rainforest land.
That's bad to me, bad enough to keep me from there, but maybe not you. But wait, there's more! There's the part where you take the time to pause and think what the pooh is in these burgers… think about it…you think beef right? HAHAHAHA, um, no…well kinda, there is a bit of beef in it. But actually its mostly fillers and stuff. They will put anything in this food to make it appear appealing (its not working) and cheaper to make. That's just yucky. And that brings me to my final fault I find in them, which is what you are paying for what you are getting.
You are paying for a burger-right? And you pay however much it costs for this 'burger', which is in fact fillers. Someone recently told me they went to McDonalds instead of Subway, because Macdonald's is cheaper. And I guess this person didn't realize, no matter how much he is paying, Macdonald's is making so much more on account of these fillers, additives and whatever that they make or buy, instead of using actual beef. Of course they do use some beef, because they are cutting down the rainforests to grow them but, think about how many restaurants they have all over the world and how many er, 'burgers' they produce…its not all meat.
Actually one more thing, have you ever peeled the skin back from a chicken nugget? Ew! Its all full of veins and grey, it looks like an old woman's leg…go ahead, look next time…
