Music
Music is more important to me then anything. I feed on it. Music wakes up everything inside of me, all my emotions. I could be in the best mood in the world, put on something sad and be hysterical.
I become it, I take it on and feel it. Its not something that seems very normal, but I really don't mid that because I love that I can feel that. And I wish everyone could, because it makes me feel really good.
That I can feel what the person that made it felt.
There is no way I could live without music. I was in 7th grade the first time I felt a song. And since then I have just been looking for differnt music to make me feel some more. Cause its my blood and I need it.
Right now I'm really into Ani Difranco. I'm gonna go see her in April and I'm really looking forward to it. I also love Tori, those are my girls.
I don't think that music should just be something for entertainment and amusment, I don't respect music made for that. Music should tell a story, a realy story, and most preferably a painful story. I just got Ani's new cd, littleplasticcastle and there's a song that says something that I agree with...
"People used to make records, as in a record of an event, the event of people playing music in a room
now everything is cross-marketing-It's about sunglasses and shoes or guns or drugs"
And I don't think it should be that way. But thats what pop music is about, something that sounds smooth and appelling-FUCK THAT
