Sicily is known for being the home to Madussa, the Mafia and Mt Etna, Europe's largest active volcano. Living on the slopes of an active volcano wasn't all it's cracked up to be. The scenery is was very beautiful but let me just say two words..... Dante's Peak. Get the picture. Constant fear... is what kept me motivated. That and the fact that I had to dust every day due to all that ash. Other than that Italy was a very beautiful and exciting place to live.
