Info about me

I was born in Muscatine, Iowa, on October 27, 1970. After graduating from Muscatine High School in 1989, I joined the Army Band that fall, and spent almost seven years playing piano and trumpet. Some of my highlights were playing for Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev, and marching in the Super Bowl 30 parade in Phoenix. I was stationed in Missouri, South Korea, and Arizona.

In May 1998, I graduated from Graceland University, which is in Lamoni, Iowa, with Bachelor degrees in Economics and Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
In December 2002, I received my MBA from Middle Tennessee State University.

Even though I now live in Smyrna, TN, I am still all about the Iowa Hawkeyes.

I like to hike! I spent 3 weeks in Australia bushwalking. I might end up living in Australia someday. I also climbed a mountain in Nicaragua with my brother. I also enjoy playing tennis, bowling, volleyball and lifting weights. I recently bought some golf clubs, so I'll probably see me hacking on the links. I play the piano, trumpet, trombone and a little guitar.
