My Wish
I look at you from across the room,
just the sight of you makes my heart boom.
You cross the room and sit by me,
I wish you could see what you mean to me.
I wish that when you look in my eyes,
you could see just how much I like you.
I wish that you'd think it was cool,
and your eyes would tell me that you like me too.
That is my wish and dream every night,
thats why i tremble whenever your in sight.
This wish i doubt will ever come true,
I could never tell you how much I like you.
If you knew you might turn away from me,
and rejected is not what i want to be.
You stand up to leave and I watch you go,
time seems to be going very slow.
You turn around and smile at me,
I wish i knew how it would be,
if I told you what you mean to me.
Would you reply that you already know?,
or you'd you simply say "so".
Oh,I really need to know!
This is my wish and dream every night,
I watch as you disapper from sight.
