Ashram is a Black Knight in the service of Beld, the King of Marmo. He is a powerful warrior and is perhaps the best swordsman in all of Lodoss. He is cool and indifferent, as cold as the ice in his gaze and in his blood. His face is like marble, and in his black armor he is an imposing figure indeed.
Ashram is perhaps the coolest villain in any anime. When he first appears, he leaves a swath of destruction in his wake. When he comes eye-to-eye with Parn, sparks fly and Parn realizes there can be only one conclusion to their vendetta.
