There are a number of churches in the vicinity of the University which offer a wide range of worship formats. It is entirely up to you which you decide to attend during your stay here, but remember that you don’t have to settle in one church immediately. Prayerfully consider which church you should attend before you decide. Here is a list of a few churches in the area that CU members attend:

CALVARY BAPTIST
Small congregation but very friendly. Morning service only. Strong Bible base. 10 mins walk.

CARDIFF CITY TEMPLE
Elim Pentecostal. Large church made up mainly of Cardiff students. Lively mix of worship and teaching. Transport needed.

GRAIG CHRISTIAN CENTRE (TEMPLE BAPTIST)
A 20-25 mins walk. Mixture of hymns and choruses in a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly, especially towards students who they frequently invite out to lunch.

HIGHFIELDS FREE EVANGELICAL
Large church, mainly attended by students. Sound teaching and a mixture of hymns and choruses. Transport needed because it is in Cardiff. See Jo.

PONTYPRIDD PENTECOSTAL CHURCH
Another Elim Pentecostal. A long walk across Ponty, but very friendly. See John Grikis.

TABOR BAPTIST
Very friendly church. Mainly hymns. Strong Bible base. Student lunches arranged every Sunday. Mixture of young and old people. In Llantrisant but lift is always provided. See Gareth Davies.
