Welcome
Let me introduce myself.
My name is
Deborah
Roswell
and I am a mother, a poet,a philosopher,
a teacher, a friend,
and a wee little speck in this universe of
ours.
(I
know, you want to see my picture... well, some of you do, anyway)
I live in rural Southwestern Ontario, Canada
and I love it here.
I love the outdoors, camping to be specific,
and would love to spend my days at a cabin beside a lake, watching the
water, listening to the loons, and smelling the pine needles and wet leaves
after a fall rain.
I
have some special photographs on my camping page
I am the mother of two amazing children,
or I should say young adults.
Both my son and daughter are over 20 now, and I am so proud of them!
Besides being a parent, I am an Early Childhood
Educator, and currently work as a support to parents and caregivers of
young children.
Children are our future, but they are also
our present. Let us not forget to let them be 'kids', enjoying this part
of their life. Help them explore, question, and discover. Give them the
tools to develop their curiosity and create friendships and partnerships
in this world of ours.
