Secret of Mana Weapons
There are many different weapons you can use in Secret of Mana and the cool thing is that any of your characters can use them! The downfall about this is that they each need to gain levels in using the weapons...but that's just a little flaw.
Here's the list of weapons:
Gloves
: Spike Knuckle, Power Glove, Moogle Claw, Chakra Hand, Heavy Glove, Hyper fist, Griffin Claws, Dragon Claws, Aura Glove
Whips
: Whip, Black Whip, Backhand Whip, Chain Whip, Fail of Hope, Morning Star, Hammer Flail, Nimbus Whip, Gigas Whip
Swords
: Rusty Sword, Broad Sword, Herald Sword, Claymore, Excalibur, Masamune, Gigas Sword, Dragon Buster, Mana Sword
Bows
: Chobin's Bow, Short Bow, Long Bow, Great Bow, Bow of Hope, Elf Bow, Wing Bow, Doom Bow, Garuda Buster
Axes
: Watt's Axe, Load Axe, Stout Axe, Battle Axe, Golden Axe, Were-Buster, Great Axe, Gigas Axe, Doom Axe
Boomerangs
: Boomerang, Chakram, Lode Boomerang, Rising Sun, Red Cleaver, Cobra Shuttle, Frizbar, Shuriken, Ninja's Trump
Spears

Javelins

Each weapon can be upgraded by a weapon orb for that particular weapon. As you upgrade the weapon, it may aquire some special abilities along with it's upgrade. You get a weapon orb from just about every boss you fight, except for maybe a few at the end. In the Mana fortress at the end of the game, if you fight enough monsters, you can recive a random weapon orb. This is the only way to get the 9th level weapons.
