On the longest night of Winter, December 21st, at the witching hour of Midnight, ADiLoN's mother found herself restless and unable to sleep. So, slipping from her communal bed with her beloved, she wandered the moon speckled gardens....dressed in but a shift and cloak to break the biting cold.
Even after his birth, ADiLoN's fate kept the knowledge of his powers sealed from him. His childhood was a normal upbriging....filled with impish mischief and warm summer days. But he was bound for much stranger lands, more powerful sights. And his incredible growth and size {at the age of 13 he weighed: 350lbs and was of a height of: 6'10''} attested to this fact.
To the Realm of Darkness....
When the age of 17 summers had passed, two summers after his banishment, ADiLoN's quickly burgoning powers were recongnized and noticed by the Lord of the Dark Realm himself. A power, mad hungry demon, eager for the power that ADiLoN posessed.
A scheme was hatched, a plot to steal the young man's power and soul for his own....
During one extremely hot summer night, the wave of blackness an almost stiffling blanket over the land, ADiLoN was betrayed.

Born of noble birth, the son of a Knight and his Lady, ADiLoN found his beginnings like any other mortal. Conceived in the love of his parents, his future awaiting his bright birth
There, watching her through the mists of night, a sorceress took notice of the young maiden....and her form heavy with pregnancy.
The fates raged against him....even before his birth....and ADiLoN's fate was written in the blood of an innocent. The Sorceress', already bitten by the spur of a jealous lover {for she had vied for the Knight's hand and had failed miserably in comparison to his blushing bride}, sought vengence for her imagined wrongs. And so, with a vicious spell cast, ADiLoN found himself cursed....and his mother dead upon the blood red snow.
At the tender age of 15 summers, ADiLoN aquired Knight Hood, following in his father's already warn tread. Making a name for himself as the youngest of the order. But his powers could not be tempered, and such a moment warrented their emergance....and ADiLoN's enchantment slowly became revealed.
Soon it was to be discovered that ADiLoN had reached the Third Phase of Warriorhood, and was near to reaching the Fourth Phase {Few reached the 2nd Level, less reached the 3rd....the only man ever to have reached the 4th was driven mad by the powers it granted him}. For this indisgression, the honor bound and slightly primative, people requested his dismissal....and banishment.
A friend, a brother sort, and a demonic minion of Darkness....the same Sorceress from his tragic birth....attacked and pinioned ADiLoN, killing his beloved Father and his soon to be bride in the attack. Wraping him in enchantments and trying to poison his soul with the essence of the Dark Lord Himself. But ADiLoN held, his enchantments of Warriorhood holding....but not completely.
His soul became split, merged in half, with the dark entity....and ADiLoN became of the Dark Realm. Part Demon-like, part Knight and Man.
