Chapter 3 (I know it's short...)
Well, it turns out that the concert they had was the last one before their summer break. AJ had planned that the guys go to the beach. Kevin, Howie, AJ, Mandy and Abby all met up while Nick and Brian went to go buy some drinks. Abby wore a baby blue bikini and Mandy wore a red one. Mandy went to hang out with Howie.
Nick came back with the drinks and saw Abby lying on her towel tanning. He dropped the drinks out of shock.
“AJ! She’s here!” Nick whispered gluing his eyes to Abby who was listening to her minidisk.
“Dude! Go talk to her!” AJ whispered.
“And say what? ‘Oh I just met you, yet I’m already in love with you! Have my baby!’ Please AJ...I don’t think so,” Nick groaned.
“No, man just go talk to her. Be yourself,” AJ answered. He walked off. Nick sighed. He took a deep breath and walked over. He just stood over her. Abby noticed someone standing over her and she tilted her sunglasses down.
“Hey,” she smiled.
“Hi,” Nick smiled shyly. Abby sat up.
“How are you?” She asked.
“Fine, and you?” Nick answered.
“I’m doing good,” Abby smiled. Nick almost melted.
“Mind if I sit down?” Nick asked.
“Sure, go ahead,” Abby smiled moving over. Nick sat down.
“I’m guessing you know who I am,” Nick said pointing to her minidisk that said “Backstreet Boys” on it with a little musical note like Nick’s tattoo.
“Yeah. I went to your concert last night,” Abby nodded.
“You did?” Nick asked. Abby nodded with a smile.
“Yeah! You serenaded me during your solo!” She smiled.
“Ohhhh!! So you’re Abby! Well, I got your little note. I would love to keep in touch with you!” Nick smiled. Abby’s face lit up.
“Really?!” She asked with excitement in her voice.
“Yeah,” Nick smiled. Abby hugged him. Nick’s smile got even bigger. When she let go, he put a smaller smile on his face.
“Are you guys on break now?” Abby asked.
“For a little while, yes, but then we’ve got work to do,” Nick nodded. Just then, AJ & Howie walked over.
“Hey Kaos! Who’s this?” AJ asked.
“This is Abby. Abby this is AJ and Howie,” Nick introduced. Abby giggled and Howie winked at her. They knew something that Nick didn’t.
