“So AJ...how is touring? Fun? Boring?” Julia asked.
“I love performing. When we’re on break, I’m literally climbing up the walls and pulling out my hair. I love singing and dancing and you know, making the ladies happy,” AJ said with a grin.
“AJ!” Julia said pushing him. AJ just laughed. He still had a smile on his face but he was looking Julia in the eyes. Julia smiled slightly.
“AJ...take your sunglasses off,” Julia said. AJ took his hands and put them on his sunglasses and took them off. Julia looked into his deep brown eyes. AJ had a serious expression on his face.
“AJ...you wanna go for a walk?” Julia asked.
“Sure,” AJ answered. They got up and told Nick and Brian they were leaving. They walked towards the beach. AJ took her hand and Julia just smiled. They talked and just walked on the beach.
“Julia, you’ve known Nick for a really long time huh?” AJ asked.
“Yeah, for as long as I can remember. Probably forever,” Julia answered. AJ stopped walking. Julia looked at him and studied his face.
“AJ? What’s wrong?” Julia asked. AJ hung his head and looked at the sand.
“Nothing,” he sighed. Julia took his hands.
“Come on AJ...tell me,” Julia said in a low voice. AJ lifted his head and looked at Julia. He loved how her eyes would sparkle and how her nose would crunch up when she smiled. Since that morning he hadn’t been able to keep his mind off of her. It was the same as Julia. She hadn’t been able to keep her mind off of AJ. After they had talked, they decided to go back to Nick’s house. Brian and Nick were sitting on the curb talking and Howie and Kevin had gone home already.
“Hey guys! Have a good walk?” Brian asked standing up.
“Yeah,” Julia smiled. AJ put an arm around Julia. Nick felt a shock of jealously run through his body. Brian just smiled.
“Well, I’m gonna go. I’m going out with LeighAnne tonight,” Brian smiled.
“Have fun and tell her I said hi!” Julia smiled. With that Brian left.
“I’m going to go home too. I wanna hang out with my mom. Scary that I say that huh?” AJ asked. Julia giggled.
“Okay Bone. See you later!” Nick said hinting that AJ should leave.
“Bye AJ,” Julia smiled. AJ turned and walked to his car and left. Nick and Julia walked inside his house, sat down on the couch and had a long talk.
