“So Kyle, where you wanna go today?” Julia asked in her normal cheery voice. Kyle shrugged.
“I dunno. It’s up to you,” Kyle answered. They stepped into Kyle’s car and drove off. Nick ran to AJ’s house asking to borrow one of his cars. AJ asked why and so Nick explained that he wanted to follow Kyle and Julia.
“So pretty much you wanna spy on her right?” AJ asked.
“Well....yeah....kinda,” Nick answered looking at the ground. AJ hit the back of Nick’s head.
“Ow! What was that for?” Nick yelped rubbing the back of his head.
“If ya wanna get Julia, spying on her ain’t gonna get you anything!” AJ answered. AJ lifted his arm again as if to hit Nick and Nick flinched. AJ just laughed, and pulled Nick’s ear.
“Ow! Get off me!” Nick yelled. AJ let go. Nick asked [again] if he could take one of AJ’s cars to spy on Julia.
“No, you cannot take one of my cars!” AJ answered Nick. Nick pouted. AJ just rolled his eyes and walked into his big house. Nick was left outside AJ’s doorstep like an idiot. “Dammit! I have to follow them somehow! Well, it’s too late now...” Nick thought to himself. He kicked himself in the butt (Ummm...even I don’t understand that!) and drove home. That afternoon, Nick was sulking around the house. BJ noticed something was up with her older brother and wanted to know what. She sat down on the couch next to Nick.
“What do you want BJ?” Nick snapped.
“I only came over here to see if you are okay! Geez! I try to be nice to you and you bite my leg off!” BJ said getting up. She walked off. Nick sighed and a shock of guilt ran through his body. “God I hate myself right now!” Nick thought yelling at himself. He ran his fingers through his blonde hair and leaned his head back against the couch and sighed again. As of Kyle and Julia, Kyle tried to put the moves on Julia earlier, but Julia slapped him and ran out of the movie theatre. So now she was in the malls parking lot trying to figure out how to get home. She flipped open her cell phone and dialed Brian’s number.
“Hello?” A female’s voice answered.
“Hey LeighAnne. Is Brian there by any chance?” Julia asked.
“I think so. Let me go find him. One second,” LeighAnne answered.
“Okay,” Julia sighed. She waited a few minutes and Brian picked up the phone. Julia told him where she was and Brian accepted to pick her up.
“Thanks so much Bubble!” Julia smiled.
“Why do you call me bubble?” Brian asked.
“Long story. Not enough time to talk ‘cause the battery on my cell phone is dying. I’ll tell you when you pick me up okay?” Julia answered.
“Okay! See ya soon!” Brian said.
“Bye!” Julia answered. She turned off her cell phone and sat down on the curb and waited to see Brian’s red Jeep pull up.
