“Yo Bryan!” Nick smiled.
“Hey man! How are ya? Been a while!” Bryan smiled standing up. They shook hands.
“I know. I spent the night here and I didn’t intend on it! But I gotta get going because I have practice in about 2 hours,” Nick said.
“Oh. How long is your practice?”
“Usually four or five hours. Sometimes longer,”
“Damn, that’s long. How do you last?”
“I barely do. But I’m kinda hyper so we’ll see about today,”
“Cool. See if you can come hang out later okay? Julia really likes seeing you. You don’t even know! It’s always ‘Nick this!’ and ‘Nick that!’ and I’m tired of it!” Bryan laughed.
“Okay! Catch ya later!” Nick smiled walking out the door. Bryan sat back down and turned on the TV. An hour later, Julia woke up. She looked around but didn’t see Nick anywhere. She frowned, got up and went into the shower with her mind still on Nick. While in the shower, she had her mind on Nick. She thought about when they were younger, and then when they were older. She smiled at the memories. Twenty minutes later Julia stepped out of the shower, and brushed her hair out. She slipped out of her towel and got dressed. Then she went downstairs and saw Bryan reading a magazine.
”Hey Bryan,” Julia smiled.
”Good morning Jules,” He smiled looking at her. She sat down next to him.
”Where did Nick go?” She asked.
“Oh, he went to practice. He should stop by later,” Bryan answered. Julia sighed.
“Where’s mom?”
“Oh, she is at the mall. She’ll be home in about three hours,”
“And what is there to do today?”
“I don’t know. You want to go out for lunch some where?” Bryan asked.
“Sure,” Julia answered. So Bryan got up and they walked out the door and down to the pizza place near by. They were seated and they sat in a booth and talked until their food came.
