1. WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT IN THE NHL SO FAR?
"I'd have to say playing in the Stanley Cup Finals with Vancouver against the Rangers. We pushed it as hard as we could go and it was rated as one of the best Stanley Cups ever. It was quite a feeling to accomplish that, but it would have been a lot nicer to have a ring."
2. IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE NHL WHAT WOULD IT BE?
"That crease rule that they started calling recently. I think they should only call it if it hinders the play. They were calling it when a guy had his toe in the crease. It's important to protect the goalies, but it takes away from the game when the guy had no impact on the play."
3. ADMIRE WHEN YOU WERE GROWING UP?
"Mark Messier for one and being from Brantford, Ontario, I'd have to say Wayne Gretzky. Also Bobby Clarke, guys who made everyone else on the team tougher. The guys that have led and inspired teams and the guys I've enjoyed watching."
4. WHAT NHL TEAMS DID YOU ROOT FOR GROWING UP?
"Philadelphia and Edmonton. I was kind of split between the high-flying Oilers and the Broad Street Bullies."
5. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
"I like to play golf. I also do a lot off stuff away from the game as far as charity work. I have my own hockey school in the summer. I try to contribute to the community as much as I can."
6. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE NHL CITY TO VISIT ON THE ROAD?
"I'm living in it. I always liked California because it never gets too cold."
7. WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUNG HOCKEY PLAYERS?
"Just work hard and don't let anyone say you can't do it. Being a guy that started playing organized hockey at 12, I heard a lot of that. If you work as hard as you can, it will pay off in the long run."
8. HOW DID YOU FEEL BEFORE YOUR FIRST NHL GAME?
"I was playing against one of my idols, Wayne Gretzky. It was an extremely nerve-racking situation, and let me tell you, he worked me over. I think I was doing a little too much watching. I finished the game with a -4 rating."
9. DO YOU HAVE ANY RITUAL OR SUPERSTITION YOU FOLLOW?
"I dress right to left. I also like to tape my stick a certain way."
