“Well, I still need to run a test to make sure but I would say I am 99% sure you are!” He said with a smile.
“O-okay-y” she studdered with shock.
He handed her a sheet of paper that he had filled out. “You can go to the Lab downstairs and I will call you when I get the results alright?” He said. She only nodded.
She walked out into the waiting room and Kayla came to her. “Oh my gosh Camille you are as pale as a ghost. Is it back? Is it what I thought?” Kayla said with concern.
Camille shook her head. “Can we just go get this test over with and go home?” Camille said blankly. Kayla lead her out the door and Emilie followed. Emilie smiled to herself. She didn’t need to be told what it was. She knew Camille was pregnant.
They entered the house and Camille went up to her room. She shut the door behind her and sat on the bed. She stared at the floor. Pregnant Dr. Larsons words repeated over and over in her mind. Slowly she began to smile. She put her hand to her stomach and began to cry with happiness. She was pregnant! Something she had dreamed about all her life. Another dream was coming true. She went to her desk and took out her diary.
Dear Diary, I have confided in you my deepest dreams for a family and now they are all coming true! I am in love with the most wonderful man in the world and I am going to have his baby! Just think as child! In my arms, Oh lord thank you. This is the sweetest day of my life! She closed her diary after making the entry. She picked up her cordless phone and dialed AJ’s cell phone number. “Hello?” Nick picked up.
“Hey Nick, Is AJ available?” Camille asked.
“Just a minute, He is in the middle of a race, we’re playing Mario Kart. So far Brian is whipping his butt! haha” Nick laughed. Camille heard a shout from AJ. She began to laugh.
“Hello?” AJ’s voice rang into the phone.
“Hey BABE!” she said excitedly.
“Hey how was the doctors appointment?” He asked her. “What is wrong with you? Are you okay?”
“I am perfectly fine my love. I am happier then I have ever been in my life.” She said with a smile.
“Well then, Tell me what Dr. Larson said!” He said.
“Well darling what would you say if I told you I was expecting?” She asked.
“Expecting what?” AJ said.
“Expecting a baby! bonehead!” she said laughing. “YOU’RE KIDDING!” AJ shouted.
“No love, I am not kidding!” she said with a smile.
“Oh my god! A Baby.” He said. In the background she could hear gasps from the boys.
“Aren’t you happy?” she asked her smile fading.
“Yes of course I am happy Camille! I’m going to be a dad. Wow. I love you! OH so much. I want to come home and be with you so much right now!” AJ said with a smile.
Outside the door, Kayla was listening to the conversation. A Baby, oh my god, a baby, how is she going to do it? college, a baby and her singing. Oh my gosh. Kayla thought in total shock.
Camille hung up the phone a few minutes later and gave a shout of happiness. She began to hum. She was trully happy inside. She patted her stomach lightly. “You are going to be the happiest child in the world. You are going to be the most loved, the most spoiled and the most kind child. Oh my baby!” she began to cry with happiness.
