Nature's Strength
Beauteous Of face and form
From rugged cliffs to insects swarm
From city sprawls to luna's face
Her chaos lives with her symmetry's grace
The smells of our lives are very strong
Reminding us of where we've gone
For nature's part she has done well
But many of them bear mankinds smell
The smell of roses fresh to bloom
The smell of horses off to groom
The smell of forests trees and soil
The smell of mountains rocky toil
All these smells belong to one
For Nature's strengths lie not undone
The tastes abound on this brown land
though must have come from humans hand
Nature bounty though they pass in haste
For man always tries to mess with taste
The taste of sugar, with power filled
The taste of meat, fresh from a kill
The taste of raindrops from high above
The taste of kisses wrought from love
All these tastes belong to one
For Nature's strengths lie not undone
The touches of this earth are many to be found
be they rough like earth or soft like down
Nature provided sensation for all as such
But mankind always appreciated touch
The touch of a daffodils feathery seeds
The touch of a riverbanks dangling reeds
The touch of sweat from a joyful race
The touch of a lover's soft embrace
All these touches belong to one
For Nature's strengths lie not undone
The Sights of earth are more powerful still
from the flowing forests to the emerald hills
For Nature showed us all her treasures
But egotist mankind thought he could do better
The sight of freshest driven snow
The sight of beautiful rivers aflow
The sight of a distant mountain peak
The sight of a lovers downy cheek
All these sights belong to one
For Natures strengths lie not undone
The sounds earth convey more than all
as the prey's shrieks to the hunter's call
For this is nature finest peak
for even mankind does wonderfully speak
The sound of a sweetly babbling brook
The sound of an owl, a sparrow, or rook
The sound of a deer as wounded it moans
The sound of a mother's gently guiding tones
All there sounds belong to one
For Natures strengths lie not undone
But mankind has his own agenda
forcing nature to surrender
or face defeat, torn asunder
leaving us to think and wonder
who will lose and who win
in this war we are all in
against the Nature, who's command
did made this Earth on which we stand
In THIS war against THIS foe
the loser is the winner, y'know
All these things belong to one
For Natures strengths lie not undone
But as we grow to take the reins
'tis against her we do profane
Mark my words and know them true
the loser in this war is YOU
