I just realized that I never really mentioned the fact that Zachery was officially diagnosed with autism in April 2001 by his neurologist. I thought I should mention this for any of the parents that are looking for info on IS and wander how Zach is doing now that he is seizure free. As you can see, Zachery has really been improving over the time that I've been slacking on updating his page. :0) We just got him this touchscreen for the computer and he's loving it. Of course, he will only play for about 5 minutes at a time, but that is a much better attention span than he's ever had. Zach has also started babbling a lot more lately. His newest words/sounds are "me mom mom baaabeee", "me, me, me", and "mean, mean, mean". LOL!! He is so funny. We are having problems with aggressive behaviors with him. He is learning his independence and is really testing his limits, too.
