We increased Zachery's Depakene to 5 ml. 3x a day a few weeks ago. So far, we have seen a decrease in his spasms again. He has also started letting go and taking 4-5 steps all alone. He is doing such a great job and I am so very proud!!

It's official, Zachery is finally walking on his own!! We are so excited to see him overcome so much. We are also VERY thankful to his P/T, Lynn, who has worked very hard with him for the past 4 months. She has taught us so many helpful ways to work with him. She is so great! She and Zachery just clicked from day 1. Early Intervention is the best thing we ever did for Zachery. Here just 4 months ago, he was just learning to sit up alone and now he's into everything and hitting the terrible 2's(early).Thank God!!

Zachery is still having a very occassional sez, but mostly when he's really tired or sick. They have really decreased in severity. They only last maybe 30 seconds now and you wouldn't know he's having one if you weren't looking. I'm so glad that he is still developing and not regressing!

Zachery is doing really great! He hasn't had any sezs in *7* weeks. We are so very happy and hoping the storm is over. He saw the neuro a few weeks ago and he was so pleased with him. He couldn't believe how well Zach was doing. It was really funny because Zach walked over and made Dr. Ottinger pick him up. Dr. O just loved him. He was so impressed that Zach is walking and so active. He told us that his medicine levels all look good and since he isn't having any sezs, we're gonna stay where we are on the meds. He still takes Depakene Syrup 5ml.-3 times a day and Clonazepam 1/2 a tablet-3 times a day.

Zach is doing really good in his EI program. He goes to the classroom twice a week and it is helping his social skills alot.

I've been trying to teach Zach to give big hugs and kisses for the past week. Wouldn't you know it, the little turkey decides he's going to show his Daddy what he's learned. The little trader. LOL!! I am also trying to teach him to say, "I Love You". So far, he says, "I", but I just know he'll end up saying it at the most unexpected time. I'm just so very proud of everything he's accomplished in the past few months!
