Welcome to my camping page..... another year and another fantastic camping trip. We had a blast, and so did everyone else LOL. Let me tell you about it.
We had a total of 15 kids, and 8 adults... We told these kids a lot of stories of legends and spooky things that have happened to us. In the past... some made up stories and some not made up.. As you can see by the pictures below.. we had a costume that worked out fantastic with the kids imagination. My husband did an excellent job on making this costume look like it was floating. It looked so realistic..... LOL it was a blast.

Here is the costume I made, this creature was seen lingering in the shadows beneath a full moon. Taking victims as the night went on..... My youngest son also helped make this costume, but was still freaked out by it in the night... he was hiding under the bridge and my husband (who was wearing the costume) didn't know he was there. decided he was going to go under the bridge and wait for the kids to come that way... well a startled Tony.... threw his flash light at the creature and attempted running away from him..... but took a digger in the boat landing instead... (he was ok, skinned his Knee a little) when my hubby (in costume came to help him) he tried to run again.. and fell again and couldn't get away.... and put his hands in a cross over his face..... didn't realize it was his Dad till he spoke to him to make sure he was ok.

These things were seen in the old trailor house after dark..... either floating or hanging.... and strange noises being made in the dark woods.... pounding and knocking... a few moans here and there were great sound affects. Really made these kids think LOL.

AND.......... here they are... the wonderful good sported group of kids that make this possible every year. Some of them come with us year after year and some came for the first time this year, but all want to continue coming, as far as I know. LOL

Well camping isn't all total fun, we did manage to catch a few fish LOL. The kids did a wonderful job of breaking down the tents for us while we got the fish cleaned and taken care of. We caught a total of 7 that weekend. They were all pretty nice cats.
