Medieval Armor
Coif (coiffe) & Ventail
Coif(coiffe) is worn under the helmet.
Ventail is made of linked meshes and was worn across the lower part of the face. It was attached on each side of the neck to the coiffe so that it protected the throat.
Greaves covered the legs.
Hauburk
Hauburk is a long skirt of mail reaching to the knees worn by knights in combat.
