The Aquarian
This is the Aquarian. It includes fusing, sandblasting on flash glass, painting, lead, foil, brass, and double glazing. This panel I made for myself and to use for teaching since it includes many techniques.
Night Rainbow
The Night Rainbow was taken from a children's story about being afraid of the dark. It includes, painting on glass and of the lead. Holes were sandblasted and then other glass incerted. Moon,stars and planets were double glazed. The vase is real 3-D and actually holds water and flowers. I made it for my best friend and it was very difficult when I had to part with it. That is when I decided to make a panel of such complexity for myself. That is when I made the Aquarian.
The Blue Victorian
This was my first LARGE panel. It is 6' x4'. It was quite a learning experience for me. At the time I got this commission I was building glass on my kitchen table. The artist that I worked with on this window, we ended up building a table that fit over top of his pool table to build the window on. And has always been one of my favorite pieces to show off.
