Hello My name is Streetkat Sammy!
I have
lived on the street until recently. Actually
I still live outside, I am taking it slow, I
get kinda nervous if the doors are closed.
But I have been hanging out with the
Southpawcats for a few months. Whenever I
sat on this lady's porch, and looked up at
her with my hungry eyes....She FED ME!! What
a deal! So I kept showing up, and then I
wasn't skinny anymore. This lady kept talking
to me about having a "home". I really wasn't
sure what that meant. But the other two cats
at this place would go inside to eat and
sleep. One day I got brave and went
inside. Oh it was scarry! I tell you I
learned real fast that the white cat she
calls Suzanna well SHE"S THE BOSS! She still
tries to chase me. When I am inside I walk
over on the other side of the room! And that
big Orange cat.....well I just thought he was
this lazy old cat. I mean outside he was
nice to me. But inside...he chases me too!
And he can run fast when he wants to!
Well I started coming in more. And one day
when I was in I was just doing my guy
thing...they call it "spraying" and boy that
lady picked me up fast and put me on the
porch! What did I do? What did I do? I'm
just being a cat. Well this lady had a long
talk with me. Made sure I didnt have another
home and told me I could live here iside or
out, and always have food, but I had to go
see Dr. Robin. She takes care of Streetcats
like me. Well OK I said. Let me tell you
LITTLE DID I KNOW WHAT THEY WERE GONNA DO!!!
But from my photo you can see I did fine,
that was the night I came home from Dr.
Robin's. I stayed in my own room that night
and the next. But I still prefer the
outside. Oh and my foot was broken Dr. Robin
said. Well when you live on the street what
is a cat suppose to do? So she fixed me up
real good and that lady gave me medicine and
my foot is gettin much better. I think I
am gonna call this lady "Mom" and you know
what it works real good when I am wanting
food. I am a gowing boy and I am soo hungry
so I am gonna go "meow" at my new mom and see
what is for dinner. Oh and dont forget to

deserve a good home. If only Suzanna and
Governor could see how nice I am.

boy it is neat to say I have a HOME!
